TATTOO REMOVAL

Laser tattoo removal has become the most popular and effective method for getting rid of unwanted ink. The process works by using a high-intensity light beam to break up the tattoo pigment, which is then naturally cleared away by the body's immune system.

HOW LASER TATTOO REMOVAL WORKS

LIGHT ABSORPTION

The laser emits short, powerful pulses of light that are specifically absorbed by the tattoo ink. The laser's wavelength is chosen based on the color of the ink, as different colors absorb different wavelengths of light. For example, black ink absorbs all laser wavelengths, making it the easiest color to treat.

INK FRAGMANTATION

As the ink particles absorb the laser energy, they heat up rapidly and shatter into tiny fragments.

NATURAL CLEARANCE

Over the weeks and months following the treatment, the body's immune system recognizes these fragmented ink particles as foreign and flushes them out of the body through the lymphatic system.

MULTIPLE SESSIONS

Since the ink is located at different depths within the skin and the body can only clear a certain amount of ink at a time, multiple treatment sessions are required to achieve significant fading or complete removal. Each session targets deeper layers of ink, making the tattoo lighter with every treatment.

BENEFITS OF TATTOO REMOVAL

  • Effectiveness: Laser tattoo removal is the most effective method for fading and removing tattoos. Modern lasers can target a wide range of colors, including difficult shades.

  • Safety:When performed by a qualified professional, laser tattoo removal is a safe procedure with minimal risk of scarring compared to older methods like a microdermabrasion or surgical excision. The laser is designed to specifically target the ink without damaging the surrounding skin.

  •  Precision: The laser can be precisely directed to target only the tattoo ink, leaving the surrounding skin unaffected. This makes it possible to remove only a portion of a tattoo or to fade a tattoo for a cover-up.
