WHAT IS PRP?
PRP is a form of regenerative medicine that stimulates the natural growth factors found in our blood cells to help heal damaged tissue. The plasma component contains stem cells and growth rich platelets. When injected back into the skin, it accelerates the body's natural production of collagen and elastin to provide overall skin rejuvenation.
WHAT IS THE PROCESS LIKE?
Our aesthetic nurse will draw a sample of the patient's blood. The blood sample is spun in a centrifuge for 5 minutes where the plasma portion of the blood get separated from other blood particles. This process of separation leaves the yellow plasma or "liquid gold" to remain on the top of the vial where it can then be utilized for rejuvenation and other benefits.

With the essential growth factors of PRP, this makes a great option to add on after a procedure. Common procedures to add PRP serum to includes the IPL, Opus, or CO2 laser. PRP also helps with the quality of your skin, leaving a healthy and youthful glow.
DRY EYES
Did you know PRP can also be used for treatment for dry eyes? PRP serum eye drops are an option when conventional therapy fails to resolve chronic dry eyes. The biological composition of PRP and natural tears is similar, making PRP a great option for patients. In addition, PRP serum has several essential growth factors, vitamins, and cytokines that can facilitate the recovery of damaged corneal and conjunctival epithelium.
Patients will receive eye drops to last around 2 months. The cost is $299. Insurance is not accepted for this treatment. Patients can call the clinic to schedule their blood draw and will receive the serum drops the same day.
